Roaster Notes: Named after a town in Colombia, where the Gachala Emerald was found in, we envisage our house blend like a gemstone hidden in the heartlands of the Queenstown HDB area, waiting to be discovered. And to those who have already unearthed this gemstone, you'll be greeted with a sophisticated yet mellow cup of coffee. Known for its Gula Melaka impression, you'll find our house blend Gachala giving you a soothing and memorable coffee drinking experience.
- 50% Colombia Garzon Microlot
- 50% Guatemala La Providencia
Taste Notes: Well-rounded acidity, with pleasant complexity and stone-fruit sweetness. Coupled with soft nutty characteristics, and a chocolaty finish.
Good as straight espresso or machiatto. Gets lost in double shot latte. Perhaps they should roast it a little bit longer
Suprised my one bag was hand delivered by Pore. Awesome service. Will continue my subscription for sure.
For Pore - The ordering experience was great and they were very accommodating. Friendly too! Looking forward to seeing more coffees on the line-up.
About the coffee - The Gachala blend from Tiong Hoe is really tasty. I bought this mainly to try for cold brew. And wow it's real good! I can really identify the tasting notes as stated by Tiong Hoe. Well-balanced with pleasant acidity and nutty-ness.
Easy to order, delivery was fast, and coffee tastes exactly like what was described - would definitely come back again! 🙂
